Responsibilities

Join our team and have an impact for amazing nonprofit organizations and a job you can be proud of. Our team stands on the front lines for some of the most pressing issues while representing some of the most amazing nonprofit organizations around like Children International. We help organizations to build power and funding through face-to-face fundraising. Our team is responsible to:

  • Be the public face of the organizations we represent: For most people, an interaction with a face-to-face fundraiser is the closest they will come to speaking with the actual nonprofit organization. We take our commitment to our partners, their brands and their missions very seriously.
  • Build monthly support: As fundraisers our top priority is securing quality monthly support for the organizations we partner with.
  • Ensure security: Strict adherence to internal security protocols to protect donor data

Qualifications

You want to work somewhere where your work matters and you have the opportunity to build and grow while earning great money. You'll possess the following skills:

  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Understand that this is an outdoor job. We work rain or shine.
  • No fear of quota.
  • The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Goal orientated, positive, and passionate about fundraising.
  • Comfortable engaging with members on the public in public places.
  • Previous sales, canvassing, nonprofit experience preferred but not required

Management Opportunities: Up Fundraising is undergoing a rapid and exciting expansion. We have leadership opportunities available to our highest performing staff who demonstrate an aptitude for people management and training.

Pay and Benefits

Benefits of working with UP Fundraising:

  • $18/ hour pay after successfully completing our training program + competitive bonuses + benefits
  • Greater of $15/hour or minimum wage for first 25.5 hours (training program)
  • Our fundraisers earn an average of $23 - $30+/hour!
  • Unlimited earning potential! 
  • Comprehensive PAID TRAINING and ongoing development and support
  • We are currently recruiting for Full-Time staff only at this time (35 hours per week)
  • We offer numerous paths for growth and advancement - promotions to leadership roles
