We are hiring for CAMPAIGNERS!! Working Washington is seeking highly motivated and experienced canvassers who will join us in a campaign job to launch our biggest campaign yet: Stop the Rollback on Progress. Working Washington is the organization that led the country in an increase on the minimum wage, and we are looking to build a talented fundraising team with campaign jobs to defend that progress statewide.
Campaign Jobs Responsibilities
Canvassers in this campaign job are responsible for educating the public and building membership for our non-profit organization, as well as, getting supporters engaged and excited for a positive future for our communities across Washington. Canvassers in the campaign jobs should also be comfortable raising money. Hiring for Full-time positions. Advancement opportunities are available to those who perform well and show leadership skills.
Campaign Jobs Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong in customer service and building client relationships.
Strong face-to-face communication skills.
Ability to stand on your feet for periods of time.
Ability to work in a team.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to read, write and communicate sufficiently to perform job functions.
Experience in a non-profit or political campaign job setting.
Experience working in politics, or an education in sociopolitical issues.
Experience canvassing, phone banking, or working on a political campaign jobs.
Experience in a Social Justice Job or Campaign Job preferred, but not required.
Working Washington is building a powerful workers movement that can dramatically improve wages and working conditions, and change the local and national conversation about wealth, inequality, and the value of work.
