We’re looking for motivated, dedicated and outgoing individuals to join our team. We’re looking for full time people to work in the Campaign Job position. The job is an excellent opportunity for leaders and activist to get a foot in the door with our organization. Make the Road Nevada is building our membership base in the fight for social, economic, and racial justice. Team members work on the front lines to recruit new members, making Nevada a better state for everyone who lives here. Campaign job team members are part of our outreach team to recruit people to increase our progressive base around the state. We then mobilize people to phone bank, door knock, march, rally, give testimonies before legislative committees, and much more. This is how we power our fight for social justice.
Fundraising: Team members are responsible for effectively and efficiently collecting donations for the organization through contacting supporters and soliciting donations. Because this is a non-profit job, we rely on the generosity of our members for our budget and political power. Team members raise awareness, identify new supporters, and open up opportunities for our community organizers to hear feedback from the community.
Establish Rapport: Team members are on the front lines of our field work. They build face to face connections between Make the Road Nevada and our members. Team members in this job are responsible for maintaining a professional, positive, and healthy rapport during each interaction. Campaign job team members must be knowledgeable about our work, and provide honest answers to any questions that arise. Additionally, team members are responsible for accurately recording the results of every interaction, and report daily numbers to their team leaders.
Strong communication skills, work ethic, the ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work within a team, receive feedback, and adapt to rapidly changing political and programmatic landscapes.
Please note, no experience is required, however previous canvassing, sales, non profit job, or political campaign job experience is a plus.

Paid training;
Monday through Friday, 37 hours per week;
Hourly rate of $15 per hour;
Benefits available after 3 months of employment.
